Astrid van Saksen - Coburg and Gotha, a Belgian princess who didn't become queen (yet???).

Since a couple of days a sadder portret photo of Philip I of Belgium shines in the Belgian media. He is under constant guidance tells a catastrophe predicting head. In the weeks prior to his coronation the Belgian press also predicted his younger brother Laurent as even more disasterous for the Belgian crown. But they trust on king Albert's daughter Astrid, legitimate spouse of prince Lorenz

Biography

She was born in Brussels on the 5th Juin 1962 as second child of the current queen mother Paola Ruffo di Calabria en king Albert II. In 1984 she married prince Lorenz, Arch duke of Austria-Este and together they bought many children. Following the example of her aunt Josephine Charlotte of Belgium, Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, she was president of the national section of the Red Cross until 2007.
